Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

It is Satuday - cool, cloudy and the temperature is just right!  Today finds us happy and cozy inside most of the day.  S is playing barbies in the living room - remember that anyone?????  :)   D is resting and watching TV in the bedroom and I am sitting here writing to you.  I just read chapter two of “The Secret”.  Inspiringly true stuff - if you haven’t checked it out - you ought to. 

 Thursday was Bradshaw Mountain High School’s graduation.  It was held at our new event center - http://www.timstoyotacenter.com/facility_info.php  If you are bored- check it out - it is pretty big for little ‘ole PV!  We have had acts like Godsmack, Willie Nelson, the Doodlebobs - just to name a few - up coming events include Stevie Nicks and Lynard Skynard - sooooo - not so bad for a little town ‘eh????  Anyhoo - it was a great place for graduation and it was a little surreal to be there but it was well worth it as I saw many a kiddo who I love dearly and we all just hugged!!!!!  It’s nice to know I am missed and not forgotten. 
Friday was a Pampered Chef party next door and I am getting the chopper!  I can’t wait!!! WOOHOO!!!!  I love those parties!!

I’m down with a little bug - came from smoke infested places last weekend as I traveled out with some people from school to do a little dancing.  It was great fun and well worth the week of “smoker’s cough” I have been enduring.  S had her dance pictures taken - I bought lots of wallets to send to you all as she is as cute as a button in her little teacher uniform - the theme is heroes - she is in the group called “personal heroes” . 

Tomorrow I teach at church - I teach the jr/sr high kiddos.  I think we will do some games and chit chat - we seem to do that best after a short lesson.  I really like those kids - they are pretty funny! 

Monday we are going to a BBQ at the same neighbor’s house who hosted the Pampered Chef party.  Should be yummy.

Thanks for the update! We love checking in on you as well. Sounds like a very nice restful weekend. Cool and rainy here too. Crossing our fingers that it clears for ball games later today. XO T.

How fun for you guys! I especially loved the part that S was playing Barbies in the living room - ah, the memories!! is she into them like we all were? Is there anything she needs?? (hint hint, since I cannot buy her a brat doll) LOL - I like the pampered chef stuff too infact I made a spinach dip from their stuff yesterday to take to a party we had to attend. We are SO looking forward to seeing you guys I have to say.. M said yesterday he is excited to give S a big hug - he misses her! Ya gotta love that! Ok, I have to update our blog and get my butt moving on laundry - fun times :) love you guys K
